While the crash at the corner of Brookside Avenue was originally reported as “an accident involving injuries,” with one person who “would need to be extricated by the fire department,” the first officers on the scene found the crash to be far less serious, according to police, who said that no extrication was required.

Still, one person was taken to a local hospital and treated for minor injuries, according to police, who were aided at the scene by volunteers from the Tallman Fire Department and the Ramapo Valley Ambulance Corps.
